preferences
In general? I consider her to be heterosexual, with some bisexual tendencies. I'll usually have her listed as ota with m/f pref as a result. Writing-wise, I'll typically default to brackets, but don't really have a preference.
about
An earnest soldier and Maid who recently graduated from military school. She was promoted to leadership at a young age because of her tactical talent and magic- a supernatural ability to inspire troops. (Her close relationship with Napoleon Bonaparte, her famous elder brother, didn't hurt either.) Though she's won every battle so far, the unavoidable deaths of soldiers under her command troubles her deeply.
personality
She's earnest and forthright. A warm-hearted idealist forced to become a hardened commander, and a young woman carrying the weight of a nation’s expectations on her shoulders.
At her core, Pauline genuinely believes in the Revolution and in people. She wants France to be better, fairer, and free from the rot of old tyrannies. This idealism is what drives her to fight—but it’s also what makes every loss hurt. She never becomes numb to the cost of war; every fallen soldier feels like a personal failure, even when victory is hers. Yet at the same time she also shares in her brother's ego, granted that it isn't as grand as his own. She is willing to compromise, bargain, or maneuver when necessary, even when it conflicts with her personal feelings.
She can be soft, and holds those she cares for in high regard. At times to a fault. However, as a result of her focus on making a name for herself in the military alongside her older brother, Pauline has grown far more focused on military affairs and less on social affairs. Though she is also a quick study and has been actively learning the art of politics, standing, and charms to navigate the turmoil of 18th-19th century Revolutionary France.

history
Pauline had graduated from the École-Militaire following the rise of Revolutionary France and before her brother, Napoleon, had seized power. And much like her brother, she has proven herself to be an acute and adept commander.
Additionally, through the events of the game, she had discovered herself to be a "Maiden". Extraordinary women who are revered by many as heroes, able to turn the tides of battle, inspire people to greater feats, heal, strengthen, and protect them through their ability. But they are also accused as witches and thus far all Maids are met with a tragic end. An ending which Pauline is resolute in overcoming.
